 Posgres.org.ua - a place for publishing tips & tricks around  PostgreSQL Database. It would have a plain stream on entries with tags-based navigation. Form for adding a new entry would be public with pre-moderation and captcha-protection. All entries would have comments and suggestions for similar posts by tags. Also couple flat pages, contact-form, google-based search. Project similar in idea:  http://www.djangosites.org/ (but tags-navigation done really bad)

  • short menu, search
  • hidden new-entry form
  • latest entries by time, with links to detailed view, add comment
  • entries pager
• /search/ - search results page
• /tags/ - all tags
• /tags/some-tag/ - entries by tag, pager, cloud of other tags that are used along with current one
• /entry-slug/ - view separate post
  • entry (title, author, link to author, tags, date, post itself)
  • comments, add-comment form with captcha-protection
  • similar entries that are sharing tags with current
• /contact/ - contact form with captcha-protection
• /about/ - flat-page about project
• /submit/ - new-entry form - should be hidden on a main page in slider-div and accessible through this link too. After posting a new entry, site admins are mailed with it's content and link to admin-page for approving. Fields:

  • author's email (remember in cookie, auto-fill) - would not be shoved to public, only for contacting by site-maintainers
  • link to author's page (remember in cookie, auto-fill)

  • entry body
  • tags
• /rss.xml - latest entries export
• /sitemap.xml - sitemap for search engines

Later markdown text-formatting, code-highlight could be added - like on  http://www.pleso.net/en/publications/2007/10/16/gwt-ibatis/
